Reporting to the Director of Community Development, and supported by an integrated and close-knit team of a second Planning Manager, a Building Official, and Building Inspector, the Planning Manager administers, coordinates, and/or directly implements the activities of the Planning and/or Housing Divisions. Planning Managers focus in different areas of specialization, depending on interests and qualifications and the priorities of the Department.

Senior Planner 

The Senior Planner leads, oversees, reviews and performs complex professional land use and urban planning work including current and long range planning, implementation of the City’s General Plan, and coordination of special projects; drafts ordinances and resolutions; makes presentations to various groups; trains and supervises assigned staff; performs other related duties as required.
 

The City of Dublin is seeking a registered civil engineer or traffic engineer as the Public Works Transportation and Operations Manager to oversee specialized and highly technical projects related to transportation planning, traffic operations management, specific maintenance services as well as management of the City’s environmental services function.

Monthly Salary: $6,896.44- $8,854.27

Collects information, performs research and technical functions necessary to compile background documents for formulation of the City’s General Plan.
