Division Manager of Planning

The County of San Luis Obispo seeks a Division Manager of Planning to join the Department of Planning and Building. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your experience and knowledge to support advanced long range, current, housing, and environmental planning projects. This position offers the right candidate an opportunity to work on a wide array of planning projects in policy formulation, complex inland and coastal development, housing, energy, resource management, and other areas.

 

Associate Engineer Traffic

Typical duties assigned to this position include, but are not limited to

Evaluate and make recommendations on traffic-related matters and traffic control device requests from internal and external shareholders.  Investigate and respond to requests from the public.

Review and approve temporary traffic control plans for construction and for city special events.

Implement and manage the city's traffic calming program otherwise known as the Carlsbad Residential Traffic Management Program.
