Senior Civil Engineer
Under direction of a Public Works Director/City Engineer, performs field and office work related to engineering functions in support of City land development, traffic, or capital improvement programs; to coordinate and plan projects including preparation of proposals, reviewing plans, preparing reports and coordinating construction activities; to ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; and to perform the more technical and complex tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
Associate Engineer II (Land Development)
The Public Works Department is hiring an Associate Engineer II in the Land Development Division. The ideal candidate will have public agency experience interacting with both developers and engineers. A strong candidate will have experience with reviewing a wide variety of documents, plans and reports for technical correctness and compliance with City of Temecula codes and standards. It is highly desirable the applicant have experience assisting the public with the land development entitlement process, right of way engineering, and Water Quality Management Plans (WQMP’s).
