Fowler Mayor David Cardenas passed away Friday, March 11, at the age of 67. His death was the result of a heart attack.

Selma City Manager David Elias has been arrested on suspicion of misappropriating public funds through the use of a city credit card while he was employed as the top administrator of Fowler.
