The Mariposa County Department of Public Works is made up of multiple Divisions that deliver services to our community each and every day. These Divisions represent roughly 52 individual budgets totaling about $48 Million Dollars in funding from multiple Federal, State and Local sources.

Definition: Under general supervision, the Senior Human Resources Analyst performs a variety of complex, professional, lead level functions related to the development and administration of the human resources programs and services in recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, labor relations, workers’ compensation, risk liability, benefits administration and training; and coordinates, prepares reports, supervises technical and clerical staff; and performs other related work as required.

City of El Cerrito, CA

El Cerrito is in western Contra Costa County and forms part of the highly urbanized area along the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay.  El Cerrito has a population of approximately 25,508 and covers an area of 3.9 square miles.  It is a community of highly educated residents due primarily to the proximity to UC Berkeley and the San Francisco Bay Area high-tech economy.  It is known for its temperate climate and breathtaking views of San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge from the hillside areas. 

Working with the Community Enhancement team, the Management Technician will support a variety of projects and programs from public safety to public works, to community-based and grassroots programs and initiatives, to opportunities for residents and businesses.   Approximately 50 projects a year are selected for grant funding with a focus on fulfilling needs to support key community priority areas.  Some of the highest priority tasks include:

The City of Seaside is a vibrant, proudly diverse, safe, and welcoming community located 115 miles south of San Francisco in Monterey County overlooking Monterey Bay. The Seaside Police Department (SPD) serves a population of 33,956 within the community’s 10 square miles.  The Police Chief is supported by a Deputy Chief and two Commanders who report to the Deputy Chief. The Department’s two divisions - Field Operations and Support Services - are each led by a Commander. SPD operates with a FY2021-22 budget of $15.9 million and the dedication of 51 full-time employees.
