Plans Examiner

The Town of Mammoth Lakes is looking for an experienced Plans Examiner to join our Community and Economic Development Department. As an integral part of our Building Division, this position will be responsible for reviewing complex plans and specifications for compliance with state and municipal building codes, Town ordinances, and standard building and engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the field and have a passion for serving our local community.

Firefighter

Under general supervision, the Firefighter will assist in fire suppression, medical emergencies and rescues; perform apparatus, building and grounds maintenance perform fire prevention, fire inspection and public   education activities; repair and test fire apparatus, equipment, buildings, and grounds; participate in training and educational activities; maintain records and reports; may operate and drive fire apparatus; and other related work as required.

The Program Manager-Grants position performs professional administrative and program support duties related to grant funded programs; develops, implements and administers grant funded activities through research, analysis and preparation of proposals and reports. The incumbent is expected to independently perform the full scope of duties associated with needs identification, grant application, and grant administration for pro-grams including home ownership, economic development, air quality, rehabilitation, transit and community development.
