The City of Thousand Oaks has an excellent opportunity! We are seeking an innovative and proactive Deputy Community Development Director with positive, forward-thinking perspectives. The Deputy Community Development Director – Planning and Development Services will direct and manage the planning function (development and environmental planning) from concept to final inspection, and will oversee permit processing, development planning, code compliance and building functions. This Deputy will also serve as Department liaison to the Planning Commission.

The City is seeking applicants for Administrative Analyst, with a current vacancy in the Engineering Department. The established eligibility list will be valid for one (1) year from date of approval and will be used to fill future Analyst vacancies, should they occur, in various departments. The Administrative Analyst is a professional level class in which the incumbent is expected to independently perform a broad scope of administrative analysis and conduct research on new and current program activities.

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the position manages the planning division and implements and coordinates the City's land use and development activities pertaining to environmental, current and future urban planning, zoning administration, historical preservation, development services center, neighborhood improvement programs and related activities.
 
Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:
Establishes divisional operating policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $90,512 - $118,098 (plus excellent benefits)

Salary Range: $120,780 - $157,588 (plus excellent benefits)
