The Sacramento City Council has postponed its national search for a city manager until incoming mayor Darrell Steinberg takes over in December.
Of 39 meetings held between Oct. 20 and July 19, Mayor Johnson has missed 16 and left another 16 early.
The Sacramento Bee has compiled salary information for 30,000 employees across 17 cities and 4 counties in the region.
Losses aren’t affecting these managers’ bottom lines.
