Deputy Director of Finance

DESCRIPTION

The Deputy Director of Finance is responsible for providing professional-level support to the Director of Finance in a variety of areas including purchasing, accounts payable, budgeting, and fixed assets; assists in planning, organizing, and directing the accounting, auditing, cash management, revenue collection, licensing, fixed assets, data processing, grant accounting, and other financial and information activities of the City; and to assist the Director with the budget and other administrative tasks.

Plan, direct, manage, and oversee the activities and operations of the Finance Department including establishing and administering a centralized system of financial administration for the City including accounting, payroll, billing, budgeting, and auditing; administer the business license program; oversee the administration of the purchasing function within the City; and perform other duties as assigned.
