The City of Pacifica currently has an opening for a Financial Services Manager in the Finance Division of the City Manager’s office. Under administrative direction, the Financial Services Manager directs and supervises activities of the Finance Division; participates in City-wide financial activities; performs professional accounting work; participates as a member of the Department’s management team in departmental policy development, administrative planning, and addressing of departmental issues; and performs related work as required.

The Marin County Human Resources Department and the Department of Finance are conducting a recruitment for the position of Chief Deputy Public Administrator.  There is (1) one full-time vacancy.

Salary Range:  $3,251.56 - $3,952.29

Represented, At-Will Position:  Under general supervision, performs routine to complex technical and administrative accounting and financial support duties in the preparation, maintenance, and processing of accounting records and transactions, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax collection, general ledgers, subsidiary ledger revenues and expenses; and performs related work as required.

Salary Range:  $6,350.62 - $7,719.22

Unrepresented, At-Will Position:  Under the direction of the Administrative Services Director, performs professional accounting work, including auditing, analyzing, and verifying fiscal records and reports, preparing financial and statistical reports, providing information to City staff regarding accounting practices and procedures, and reconciling general ledger accounts; assists in preparing the City's annual budget; prepares year-end audit reports and schedules.
