Finance Analyst

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: Monitors and administers the financial reporting and oversight responsibilities for the Choice Neighborhood Initiative Grant (CNI) and other grants/funds as assigned by the Finance department. Prepares financial exhibits, and administers budgets and reporting associated with grants and other funding as assigned by Finance. Performs scenarios analysis as well as complex statistical, cost and financial analysis of financial reports and data, and prepares subsequent narrative analysis for management.

Classification: Represented by SHRA Employee Association To perform technical and professional accounting functions in the analysis, interpretation, recording and reporting of the Agency's financial transactions Testing/Examination: Up to 50 of the most qualified candidates will be invited to appear for a written exam for this position. The top 16 candidates who pass the written exam will be invited to appear for an oral exam. Candidates must pass all phases of the exam in order to be placed on the eligible list for this classification.
