The City of Thousand Oaks has exciting opportunities in the Finance department! We are seeking to fill two vacancies in the Accounting Division: Senior Accounting/Customer Service Representative or Accounting Specialist. Vacancies will be filled at either level based upon candidate qualifications and experience. 

Fiscal Analyst

The City of Morro Bay is looking for a Fiscal Analyst to provide budget and finance reporting analysis and support to staff Citywide, enabling staff in other departments to access, understand and effectively manage their budgets and fiscal operations. The ideal candidate is professional, trustworthy, and knowledgeable in principles of public administration relating to financial management. The right candidate will be a team player completely invested in high performance as well as organizational and community success.

Accounting Technician I

Salary: $19.59 - $25.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits. Benefits include fully paid medical for most plans (including family coverage) as specified in the current union contract.

This position under general supervision, performs a variety of technical accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll functions, and reconciliation of checking accounts; and assists in the preparation of a variety of financial reports.

Procurement Services & Programs Specialist


This position is open until filled with first review of applications scheduled for Thursday, March 17, 2022.  This position is currently open to the public, however priority will be given to any City of Benicia employees who are in the Benicia Supervisors & Professionals Association (BSPA).
The Procurement Services and Program Specialist (PSPS) receives general direction from the Assistant  Finance Director and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and operating the purchasing/risk functions located within the City’s Finance Department.
