Director of Finance

The Finance Director is a critical leader on the Executive Management team, supporting the City Manager and City Council in management, development and implementation of the City’s financial operations, including budget, revenue collection, purchasing, accounts payable, treasury and investments. The Director will be the technical and managerial expert in the Finance Department and will provide leadership through collaboration, teamwork and active involvement, contributing to the long-term financial health of the organization.

 

Finance Analyst

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: Monitors and administers the financial reporting and oversight responsibilities for the Choice Neighborhood Initiative Grant (CNI) and other grants/funds as assigned by the Finance department. Prepares financial exhibits, and administers budgets and reporting associated with grants and other funding as assigned by Finance. Performs scenarios analysis as well as complex statistical, cost and financial analysis of financial reports and data, and prepares subsequent narrative analysis for management.

Fiscal Manager

Under general direction of the Deputy Director Auditor-Controller plans, organizes and directs the fiscal activities and accounting services in support of the Financial Reporting Division in the Auditor-Controller's Office.  The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing the production of various comprehensive reports in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) such as the County's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), Single Audit-Report, and/or other similar annual reports or financi
