The City of Oxnard is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage the City’s Finance Department consisting of 30 employees across 3 divisions. Accountant

Accountant – Finance Department

Annual Salary $57,096 – $76,514 + excellent benefits

This position works under the general direction of the Accounting Manager, performing the full range of municipal accounting duties.

EducationA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, public administration, business administration, or related field.

Accounting & Budget Manager

Under general direction, manages the day-to-day general accounting functions of the Finance Division (general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and fixed assets), auditing, and analysis of accounting systems; financial reporting; prepares and manages special projects as required; and supervises accounting personnel.

Senior Accountant

The City of Millbrae is recruiting for a Senior Accountant. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this key position participates in the development of the annual budget, prepares financial reports and statements, and ensures work is completed in accordance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, policies, and procedures. This position manages a full range of accounting and finance functions including maintaining the City’s general ledger, accounts payable, purchasing, payroll, utility billing, flood control, cash receipts, and customer service.
