Human Resources Manager

The City of Calistoga, California is offering an exciting career opportunity for a talented and collaborative local government professional to serve as the new Human Resources Manager. Reporting to the City Manager, this ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, people, and interpersonal skills. The primary focus of this HR generalist will be on overseeing the day-to-day operations of all human resources functions and managing the timely delivery of departmental projects and initiatives.

Assistant City Manager

Fire Chief

Utilities Director

The City of Solvang, located in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara County, is conducting a search for an accomplished professional to serve as its next Utilities Director. The Director will have experience managing utilities for a municipality, county, or a municipal district. The Utilities Department is composed of the following divisions, which encompass a total staff of 11 full-time employees.

Police Lieutenant

Under administrative direction, the Police Lieuntenant assists the Chief of Police in coordinating and directing departmental activities and field operations; relieves the Chief of Police of day-to-day duties associated with police operations; performs responsible and complex administrative work; directs or conducts special surveys; acts for the Chief of Police in his/her absence; may act as a watch commander on a specified shift; performs other related duties as required. 

Parks and Recreation Director

Under the administrative direction of the City Manager, to plan, organize, direct, and supervise the City's parks and recreation services, facilities and programs including Rohner Park, Newburg Park, Depot Museum, Monday Club, Chamber of Commerce grounds, and River Lodge Conference Center. Manage facilities such as roadway medians, low impact design basins, pocket parks, and city property beautification and responsible for the development and control of parks and recreation budgets.
