Planning Technician

Salary Range: $72,091 – $94,062 annually (plus excellent benefits)
Full-time permanent position (subject to probation)

Under direct or general supervision of the Planning Director, the Planning Technician provides daily technical support to the Planning Department team and plays a significant role in providing information at the Planning public counter.  This is an entry-level position in the planning profession and will expose the employee to a wide variety of interesting planning projects in a small, dynamic coastal city.

Permit Counter Technician I-II

Are you interested in learning more about the construction and building field? The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one (1) regular, full-time position in the class of Permit Counter Technician I - II at the Department of Community Services. This position will be assigned as a Permit Counter Technician I or II depending on the selected candidate's experience. The salary range for the classification levels are as follows:

Permit Counter Technician I: $54,038 - $65,686 Annually
Permit Counter Technician II: $59,446 - $72,238 Annually

Senior Civil/Traffic Engineer

The Senior Civil/Traffic Engineer is responsible to plan, organize, direct and supervise professional engineering work related to the investigation, planning, design, construction, traffic operations, maintenance and operations of a variety of public works facilities, systems, roads, and projects as well as residential, commercial, industrial and multi-family building and development projects; to manage and perform the most complex and difficult engineering tasks related to assigned area of responsibility.
